As the Ministry of Education and Childcare puts the final details into the Draft Reporting Policy, the process of communicating student learning is becoming more standardized and streamlined with the goal of the communications being easily accessible for families.

Many teachers continue to learn more about good assessment practices to help students understand their learning and the next steps they need to take to further their learning.

Some school's reflections;

- how do we design lessons that provide access points for everyone, including students who need extra support and our many ELL students?
- how do we increase parent understanding of ePortfolios and their involvement in checking and commenting on portfolios?
- focus on formative feedback - students need coaching to go back to posts and rework or extend their thinking

- Differentiation: how to show growth for each individual student in an effective and efficient way?

- Recognizing families are facing certain stressors currently.
