Every June, the Richmond School District acknowledges Pride Month, and we also recognize Pride Season, which spans from June to September. The district believes that equity and inclusion are foundational to learning and leading, and are critical to success, well-being, and fulfillment.

June is designated as National Indigenous History Month, a time to honour and acknowledge the rich history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples throughout Canada.
