What is a Strategic Plan?
The Richmond School District’s 2025–2030 Strategic Plan serves as a roadmap to guide our efforts over the next five years. Developed every five years in alignment with Policy 101-R, the plan identifies the district’s strategic priorities and outlines goals to support student success.
At the heart of this plan is our shared vision of creating a thriving educational community where every student can succeed. Your input is essential in shaping our priorities, refining our goals, and ensuring the plan reflects the values of our community.
Our Process and Timeline
The engagement process is designed to ensure meaningful input from all members of our community. Key dates include:
- January 27, 2025: Public launch of the strategic plan engagement phase.
- February – June 2025: Opportunities to participate, including online surveys and public open houses.
- December 2025: Presentation of the finalized strategic plan to the Board of Education.
