In our classrooms, we have been investigating how technology can support inclusive learning practices. How can accessibility tools such as speech to text and text to speech support all our learners? How can we promote the use of technology as a universal support available to everyone and build our students’ confidence and engagement?
What we are finding is that our students are increasingly on-task when using technology and are displaying increased engagement as learners. Our students have learned to use a variety of apps and platforms to best support them in making their learning visible and communicating with their teachers and peers. Students are increasingly choosing to use technology in the classroom across curricular areas.
