Dear Richmond Families,

On December 5, 2022, the Richmond School District celebrates the tremendous contributions of our leadership and management staff. In Richmond, this includes principals, vice-principals, district educational administrators and management and professional staff.

Due to weather related staff shortages and unsafe side roads, bus service to McNair, Cambie, McNeely, Kingswood, and Woodward students living in the Hamilton and rural areas (east of Hwy 99) is canceled.

Burkeville students bus service is also canceled.

All Richmond public schools are open today, Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

The Richmond Board of Education would like to inform the public that Scott Robinson will retire as Superintendent of the Richmond School District at the end of March 2023.

Around the district is a monthly update that includes a collection of stories from Richmond schools. These stories highlight Richmond's vibrant learning community which fosters student engagement, creativity, and well-being in inclusive learning environments.
