The Richmond School District offers school facilities for use by community groups, organizations, and individuals throughout the year in accordance with Board Policy 804.1. All rental requests must follow district guidelines and processes outlined in the Facility Rentals Information Package.
Step-by-Step Rental Process
Step 1: Review the Facility Rentals Guide
Download and review the full Facility Rentals Guide (PDF). It includes all required documents, rental rates, availability, exception dates, insurance details, and terms of use.
Step 2: Complete the Application Form
Fill out the Facility Rental Application Form (PDF). Include all required details such as setup/takedown time, and the type of space you are requesting.
Step 3: Submit Your Application
Send the completed application to rentals@sd38.bc.ca at least 15 business days before your requested start date.
Step 4: Await Confirmation and Provide Additional Documents
The Facility Rentals Office will contact you if further documents are required (e.g. insurance, non-profit certificate, payment). Allow up to 2 business days for a response.
Step 5: Finalize Your Booking
Once approved, you will receive a rental agreement. Payment and all required documents must be submitted before your first date of use.
