January 27 marks the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, observed as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. On this solemn occasion, the Richmond School District honors the memory of the six million Jewish people and millions of other victims who were persecuted and murdered during the Holocaust.
