A vibrant Science Celebration brought together 188 students from seven science classes. This event highlighted over a hundred unique projects, each a testament to the students' creativity and scientific curiosity.

Starting with concepts learned in class, the students progressed from structured lab work to developing their own independent projects. They were encouraged to think creatively and explore new questions, working alone or in pairs. Their projects spanned a range of fields: life sciences, health sciences, earth and environmental sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, and computer science.

The celebration took place in the school rotunda and was a pivotal moment for students to hone their presentation skills, engage in enriching discussions with their peers, and proudly showcase their scientific achievements. This gathering was an interactive forum where students could receive feedback, learn from one another, and appreciate the diverse range of scientific exploration represented.

Eight exceptional projects were selected to represent the school at the renowned Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair. This selection was not only an honour but also a significant milestone in the students' academic journey, offering a pathway to the Canada-Wide Science Fair. For these young scientists, this recognition was a testament to their hard work, ingenuity, and passion for science, marking an important step in their journey of discovery and academic excellence.
