Excitement filled the air as students immersed themselves in the vibrant world of Bollywood dance. This form of dance is a highly expressive and energetic style rooted in Indian cinema, characterized by its intricate choreography, colourful costumes, and fusion of various dance forms, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of India.

The initiative was made possible by the support of the Parent Advisory Council (PAC), enabling each class to participate in five days of lively and immersive dance workshops. Following their training, the students visited Steveston-London Secondary School, where they presented a wonderful performance.

Engaging in Bollywood dance allowed the students to embark on a cultural exploration, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of the diverse traditions that enrich our community. This experience underscores the vital role of the arts in promoting inclusivity and cultural awareness in our schools.
