Combined Studies is an academic-alternate graduation program at Hugh Boyd Secondary for students who have successfully completed Grade 10, but have struggled in a mainstream program. Students in the program are working towards a Dogwood diploma and complete all graduation requirements. 

The program operates on a semester system with intakes in September and February. 

Program Structure
Students are supported by a team of 3 academic teachers, a full-time youth worker and access to district and community supports. Combined Studies operates on a semester system with two intakes during the school year (September and February). All students must fill out an application and meet the staff for an interview.
