During the 2015-2016 school year, 2 of our Secondary schools had extracurricular clubs that focussed on SOGI. At this time, every Secondary school has a club, and in the last year, two elementary schools have begun this journey. This school-based We know that having a club and a safe space at school is an important factor in LGBTQ2+ student wellness. Similarly, having access to literature and learning resources that reflect your identity is a positive factor in building resilience in students.
